On 6th May 2020, Readymix were pleased to donate BND500 to Projek Bina Ukhwah in participation of this year’s seasonal Jelajah Ramadhan Project to provide assistance to underprivileged families in the form of in-kind donation to assist them in this holy month of Ramadhan and to prepare them for their upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations.

On 12th May 2020, the Readymix team along with the Projek Bina Ukhwa team ventured to 10 households from the Ulu areas in Labi to Seria and Kuala Belait areas to deliver the items to the families in a heavily rained day. We are grateful and pleased to see the happy faces of the recipients when we visited and gave the donated goods to the recipients and their families.

It is also an eye-opener and it created a very wholesome atmosphere when we got to meet and interview the recipients and their families. We hope to help more underprivileged families in the future and we are thankful to all the charity organizations for having us to participate in such meaningful events.

The company has always been a strong advocate in the empowerment of young individuals, especially Projek Bina Ukhwa, an NGO led by students and fresh graduates in their mission to create a better and safer living environment for economically challenged families.
