GROUND BREAKING CEREMONY OF LUGU MOSQUE
1 July 2025- The foundation stone for the Lugu Mosque, situated within the RPN Kampong Lugu public housing area, was officially laid under Brunei’s 12th National Development Plan (RKN-12). The ceremony was officiated by the Minister of Religious Affairs, Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, underscoring the mosque’s significance in the nation’s ongoing expansion of religious infrastructure.
