Readymix Concrete (B) Sdn Bhd hosted an educational site visit for over 30 visitors from the Public Works Department (JKR) comprising engineers, surveyors, project officers, and other internal staff.

The company’s Technical Manager Howell Dosal Carcillar led the visit. Dosal has been with the company since 2012 with four years of experience as a concrete specialist in Dubai prior to his employment in Brunei Darussalam.

He showed the detailed process of concrete manufacturing from the acquisition of the raw materials used, quality control and necessary testing of the raw materials, production process, and also the delivery.

Prior to the educational tour of the company’s concrete batching plant based in Sungai Akar, a safety briefing and inspection were conducted and led by Nurfadzle to ensure the safety of all the visitors, according to a press release.

The company’s Marketing Executive Zara Laila binti Abdul Hadi stated, “Readymix Concrete (B) Sdn Bhd is always ready to welcome the public onto our batching plant sites.

“We are very keen on educating the public on the detailed process as to how we have managed to maintain the quality of our concrete for the past 35 years and how fly ash and other innovations have played a big role in that process.”
