Readymix handed over a cheque of BND1,000 to Projek Bina Ukhwah in participation of this year’s seasonal Jelajah Ramadhan Project to provide assistance to underprivileged families in the form of in-kind donation to assist them in this holy month of Ramadhan and to prepare them for their upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations.

Readymix practices Corporate Social Responsibility in which the company is devoted in the concept of giving back to society since its establishment in 1984. The company has always been a strong advocate in the empowerment of young individuals, especially Projek Bina Ukhwa, an NGO led by students and fresh graduates in their mission to create a better and safer living environment for economically challenged families.

The Readymix team consisted of Executive Personnel Zara Laila Binti Abdul Hadi and Wendy Chok, and also their Fleet Supervisor, Mr. Gordon Anak Lawrence whose specialty in fleet supervision was be able to contribute learning skills for the volunteers in terms of logistics, speed management, and health and safety management. In addition, the company also provided manpower, transportation, and also non-woven bags to ease the preparation and distribution of the donated goods.
